Finally, Turkey’s AKP bows to Iraqi Kurdish terrorists who support PKK
According Hurriyet, High-level Iraqi Kurdish official to visit Turkey in the coming days!
Nechirvan Barzani, the prime minister of the Kurdish regional administration in northern Iraq, will visit Turkey in the coming days, a news service associated with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) of Iraqi President Jalal Talabani reported on Sunday.
Barzani will visit Turkey in the next two days as a response to an official invitation, the representative of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in Ankara Bahroz Galali told “Kurdistani Nwe” newspaper.
“Barzani will meet the Turkish officials to discuss the latest development and the urgent issues,” PUKmedia quoted Galali as saying.
Turkey has been considering to invite Barzani to discuss the possible measures that can be taken in fight against the terror organization, PKK. It has long blamed the Kurdish regional administration in northern Iraq for supporting the PKK and refused to hold contacts.
Turkey’s decision came after 17 soldiers killed in a PKK attack in Oct 3. Turkey had intensified its campaign to crackdown the terror organization and the parliament had extended the mandate given to military to carry out cross border operations.
Following the first contact, which was held after another PKK attack late in 2007, the northern Iraq administration took several steps but those were not satisfactory., Voice of a Nation
