Esger Ekberzade (Asgar Akbarzade) and Huseyn Huseyni are two students in Erdebil (Ardabil) province of Azerbaijan. They were arrested months ago for involvement in Azerbaijani National Movement.

Acording Savalansesi, their family member had informed the reporter that both of them are in critical condition because of being harshly tortured while in custody.

Theye are being kept in Erdebil’s jail but recently were transferred to Intelligent Service’s custody.

BayBak highlights that Iranian authority is planning to damage the future image of Azerbaijani activists. By putting them in not related sections in prison, they are producing false information for ANM (Azerbaijani National Movement) activists. Azerbaijani captives are kept together with thefts, rapists and killers. This means that in future, Fars rulers will refer to the section of the activists been kept, and will name them as thief, rapist or a killer.
