U.S. President George Bush confirmed the bill on rendering economic assistance to the republics of the South Caucasus in 2008. APA reports that according to the law, Armenia will receive $58.5mln, Georgia 50.5mln. and Azerbaijan $19mln.

The US will also render equal military assistance to Azerbaijan and Armenia – $3mln.

The US reduced the assistance to Armenia by $17.5mln. compared with 2007.apa
