EU Special Representative for South Caucasus Pter Semneby has held meetings with opposition representatives and state officials. Peter Semneby was immediately sent to Georgia on November 7, when the meeting of opposition was dispersed.

Matthew Bryza welcomed Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili’s initative on holding early elections, and also said Russia must not interfere in Georgia’s internal affairs.ans
