UN decides to evacuate Afghanistan staff

A UN Spokesman told Reuters Press Agency that the international body made the decision due to deteriorating security in Afghanistan.
The Spokesman said also that the UN plans to decrease the number of the Afghanistan staff from 1,000 to 400.
The United Nations said its evacuation would not disrupt its operations in the country.
Taliban members killed 5 UN foreign staff in an attack to a UN guest-house in Kabul on October 28.
Meanwhile, US President Barack Obama is due to decide within weeks whether to approve a request from his commander in Afghanistan for tens of thousands of additional troops.
The US troops in Afghanistan has already doubled in the nine months since Obama took office.
There are now around 110,000 Western troops in Afghanistan, two-thirds of them are American.trt
