Two Armenian captives in Azerbaijan refuse returning to their country. If they want to return to their country they will be probably handed over.

Head of Working Group of Armenia State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons Armen Kaprielyan said that they want Azerbaijan to return two Armenian captives. He said in an interview to the media of his country that representatives of Azerbaijan State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons were told about it when Armenian-captured Azerbaijani civilian Masim Binnatov was handed over. But relevant commission of Azerbaijan said that they have no such appeal.

Two Armenians are kept in Azerbaijan at present. One of them is civilian, the other is serviceman. Valeri Suleymanyan who lived in occupied region of Azerbaijan and trespassed on Azerbaijan not long ago asked Azerbaijani side to hand him over to the third country and stated that Karabakh Armenians are tired of illegal military regime, misery and poorness in occupied regions of Azerbaijan. The other soldier of Armenian Army 24-year old Armavik resident of Armenia Ashaturyan Ambarsum Mnakovich who was drafted on May 17, 2007 linked his trespassing on Azerbaijan with arbitrariness in Armenian Army. He appealed to his mother who lives in Russia not long ago and asked to help him for visiting his mother. Ashaturyan wrote in his letter that officers hurt soldiers in Armenian Army they beat and torture them.
