“Armenians committed genocides against Turkish people several times in 1920. Kars is not an exception. Therefore, we deeply feel Armenians’ savagery against Azerbaijan. Armenians killed 613 people, captured 1275, 1000 became handicapped and 150 were missing. Millions of Azerbaijani Turks have been displaced as a result of the occupation of Nagorno Karabakh and other Azerbaijani regions by Armenians. Taking all this into account, we ask to recognize Khojaly tragedy as genocide and to appeal to the parliaments of all countries for withdrawal of Armenians from Azerbaijani lands,” the appeal says.
