Turkey will ban import of some Russia-made products. APA reports that Ankara intends to take this step in response to Russia’s imposing embargo on Turkish goods. Moscow banned import of Turkish goods not only from Turkey, but also from Europe last week.
Kursat Tuzmen, the Minister of State in charge of Customs and Foreign Trade visiting China underlined that Russia’s imposing embargo on Turkish goods caused damage to both sides.
“This is illegal. They impede import of Turkish products to the country. In this respect, Turkish exporters, Russian importers and world brands suffer from it. We will give adequate answer to Russia. Import of Russia-made products will be banned as from today,†he said.apa
