Mrs. Golami is one of female activists who is in prison with no trial or any charge. She was in prison for her activities before and been threatened by Iranian intelligent officers. Her young daughter is experiencing physical and moral difficulties because of that.

According BayBak, Azer Association (Azər Cəmiyəti) is an organization acting to defend Azerbaijanis right in their mother land (Southern part of Azerbaijan) where is occupied by Iranian regime.

Mrs. Golami is one of female activists who is in prison with no trial or any charge. She was in prison for her activities before and been threatened by Iranian intelligent officers. Her young daughter is experiencing physical and moral difficulties because of that.

Azer Association has published news and articles about the situation; also their act was successful in sending a request by human rights organizations to Iranian embassy. The request is as follow:

Dear Ambassador;

According to the news from Tabriz, Iran, Mrs. Shahnaz Gholami, journalist, member of Iranian women journalist

Association (ROZA) and women rights activist was arrested 09.11.2008 by The Ministry of Intelligence Service.

Mrs Gholami is headeditor of “Azar Zan” web log and had been jailed 5 years 1990-1995 in Tabriz prison due to her political activities and later she was jailed once more for a month on June 2008 for participating in Khordad 85 (May 2006) movement anniversary. She also has been tortured in jail.

Please Mr. Ambassador do what you can to free Mrs. Shahnaz Gholami Din the name of human rights and humanity. And please as soon as possible.
