. | Students all around Azerbaijan are demanding their class mates release and also pushing the government to be loyal to its own constitution which allows non-Fars nations to have their ethnic rights in an equal way. Section 19 in Iranian constitution clearly identifies that Iran is a multi-national country and all must have same opportunities to save their national heritages. |
Recently the pressure that is being applied by Iranian central government to non-Fars nations in Iran been increased sharply.
Many activists from human rights and cultural sections in Azerbaijan been arrested with no reason. They are being kept in custody for month without a proper trial. They have no access to a lawyer, even are not allowed to contact their families.
Students all around Azerbaijan are demanding their class mates release and also pushing the government to be loyal to its own constitution which allows non-Fars nations to have their ethnic rights in an equal way. Section 19 in Iranian constitution clearly identifies that Iran is a multi-national country and all must have same opportunities to save their national heritages.
Hemedan (Hamadan) is an ancient Azerbaijani city where it was capital of the Empire for many years.
