Speaker of Iranian parliament Ghulam-Ali Haddad-Adel will pay a visit to Azerbaijan on November 8. Azerbaijani ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Iran Abbasali Hasanov told APA agreements on strengthening the cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments will be reached during the visit of Iranian speaker.
Abbasali Hasanov said that the visit schedule has not been specified yet, it is being debated.
Press secretary of Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan Majid Feyzullahi confirmed that the speaker will visit on the mentioned time, but said his meetings in Baku have not been fully agreed.
Diplomatic sources told APA that speaker of Iranian parliament is expected to meet with president Ilham Aliyev, speaker of Azerbaijani parliament Ogtay Asadov and other officials.
