Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-Al-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh congratulated Azerbaijani people on Eid-al-Fitr, Holy Ramadan holiday.
Pashazadeh said he prayed for people’s oruj (fasting) and namaz (pray) to be accepted by Allah’s. “Thank Allah that our people saved great traditions of Holy Ramadan. They were fasting and praying throughout this holy month and now meet Eid-al-Fitr with great happiness. Oruj is an important command of Allah and it brings welfare, virtue and abundance to the peopleâ€.
The Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office said Holy Ramadan made people kind and well-wishing and brought goodness and mercy between them. “The people are visiting their parents, relatives, bearing a grudge are reconciled on this holiday. They are helping poor and lonely people and visiting graves of their deceased parents and relativesâ€.
“Azerbaijani Muslims are integral part of the Islamic world and they are wishing welfare, peace and stability for their homeland on Holy Ramadan. We are praying Allah that our occupied territories will be liberated and refugees and displaced persons will return home under the leadership of head of our state who makes efforts to make our independence stronger and to restore territorial integrity of our homelandâ€.
“I congratulate all Muslims on Holy Day – Eid-al-Fitr, bless them and pray Allah to grant them welfare and peace. Eid-al-Fitr will be celebrated on September 20 or 21 by the appearance of new moon. According to the decision of Azerbaijani government, both days will be celebrated as a holiday.
We are praying for happy future and welfare of our people. They are carrying love of Allah in their hearts and let them to realize all their good wishes and intentions. May Allah grant you plenty and goodness and strengthen our unity, make our homeland stronger and welfare. Aminâ€.apa
