5-magnitude earthquake struck Shamakhi at 7:11 pm today. Seismological Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences informed ANS PRESS.
The epicenter of the quake was 15 km north-west from Pirgulu. The information also said 4.5 magnitude tremors were recorded in Pirgulu and Damirchi, 4.0 – Shamakhi, 3.5 – Ismayilli regions of the republic. No casualties reported.
