Due to the military parade to be held on June 26 – Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces Day in Baku, road traffic will be restricted beginning from 06.00 on June 23 in some streets and avenues of the Azerbaijan’s capital.
Bake City Traffic Police official Vagif Asadov told APA that the traffic will be restricted around Azadlig Square where large-scale military parade will be held on June 26, 2011 on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the Azerbaijani Army. “Form 06.00 on June 23 to the end of the event on June 26, the road traffic will be fully restricted in Azadliq Square and nearby areas, including Nobel Avenue, Afiyaddin Jalilov and Uzeyir Hajibeyov streets, Zarifa Aliyeva Avenue. The traffic will be suspended in Khagani Street, from Keykab Khanum Safarliyeva Street to Rasul Rza Street, from Khagani Street to Neftchilar Avenue, from Azneft Circle to Gurban Abbasov Street, from 14 km of Baku-Astara highway toward the Azadlig Square and Sahil Park.
We request population and all drivers to assist the organizing this important event and use subway and public transport taking impossibility of road traffic in above-mentioned areas into consideration.apa
