A delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov represents Azerbaijan in the session held in Geneva.
A report on Azerbaijan’s implementation of its commitments on human rights will be made in the session of within UN Council of Human Rights to be held on February 6.
A delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov represents Azerbaijan in the session held in Geneva.
Head of Azerbaijan’s permanent representative in the UN office in Geneva Elchin Amirbayov told that this mechanism has been used since two years and concerns to UN member states and conducted on special schedule.
The session studies implementation of the commitments on human rights and gives certain recommendations. Differing from other international commissions this organization studies different spheres on human rights. After exchange of opinions on human rights other countries also present their positions.
Remind that, reports will be made on 15 other countries other than Azerbaijan in this session.ans
