Official welcome ceremony was held in Azerbaijan for President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas on June 28.
APA reports that Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev welcomed Mahmoud Abbas.
Azerbaijani state and government representatives were introduced to Mahmoud Abbas, members of the Palestinian delegation were introduced to Ilham Aliyev.
The presidents were photographed.
Following the official welcome ceremony, the presidents held one-on-one meeting. They exchanged views on the state of the bilateral relations in political, humanitarian and other spheres.
