President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev left for an official visit to Iran on Tuesday.
At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Head of State was seen off by Chief of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev and Baku mayor Hajibala Abutalybov.
After being welcomed by Iran`s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and other officials in Tehran, Azerbaijani President met with his Iranian counterpart in private. The meeting focused on bilateral relations between Iran and Azerbaijan in different spheres.ans
