Spanish police have detained a PKK suspect who was sought for his alleged crimes in Turkey, Spanish authorities said Friday.
Remzi Kartal, a former lawmaker from the disbanded Democracy Party (DEP), was detained last Monday in a shopping mall in Madrid.
The Turkish Embassy in Madrid would make an official request for Kartal’s extradition to Turkey as soon as official paperwork arrives in the hands of the embassy.ans
