Turkish Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin left for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Thursday.
It will be his first visit to a foreign country after getting elected as the new speaker of the parliament on August 5.
Sahin is set to meet with TRNC President Mehmet Ali Talat, Parliament Speaker Hasan Bozer, Prime Minister Dervis Eroglu, and TRNC’s first President Rauf Denktas.
He is expected to return to Turkey following the meetings.wb
