One of about 10 aid vessels to head to Gaza is setting out from the US. 36 volunteers, all American citizens, have held a press conference in New York.
That almost one third of the volunteers who say their aim is to break the Israeli embargo are Jewish is interesting.
The volunteers are between 20 and 80 years of age and comprised of all professions from students to retirees, veterans to artists.trt
