Ms. Mammadova was born in 1931. 4 days later is the birthday of Mammad Amin Rasulzadeh. He was the founder of modern state of Republic of Azerbaijan. |

The founder of Azerbaijani Democratic Republic Mammad Amin Rasulzadeh`s last surviving granddaughter Firuza Mammadova has passed away after struggling a long lasting decease. Ms. Mammadova was born in 1931. She was exiled to Kazakhstan along with her family when she was 10 years old. Shortly after, she lost all of her family members there.
Mammed Amin Rasulzadeh is one of the most important political figures in the country`s history. Rasulzadeh was a prominent statesman, scholar, public figure and one of the founding political leaders of Azerbaijani Republic, the first democratic and secular state in the Muslim-world. His famed expression “Bir kÉ™rÉ™ yüksÉ™lÉ™n bayraq, bir daha enmÉ™z!” (“The flag once raised will never fall!”) became the motto of the independence movement in Azerbaijan in the late 20th century.ans
4 days later is the birthday of Mammad Amin Rasulzadeh. He was the founder of modern state of Republic of Azerbaijan.
