President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree, which approved the agreement between Azerbaijan’s MFA and State of Palestine disposal of material-technical support to Palestinian Embassy in Baku.
“Pia.az†informs that the agreement was signed on January 31 in Baku. The phrase “State of Palestine†is underscored in the agreement. Official Baku used not to define “Palestine†though has been supporting the idea in the international organizations.
Having signed that decree Ilham Aliyev approved Azerbaijan recognizes Palestine. A “Pia.az†source told that the Israeli party appeared with touch counteract for Baku.
“The reason to cease the activities of Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan was that fact. Israel threatened Azerbaijan who establishes relations with Palestine.â€
Israeli MFA addressed a message to Azerbaijan saying that Israel would recognize Nagorno-Karabakh if Baku didn’t revise its policy.
