Officers of Khudat police department of Khachmaz region police office detained a German citizen called Muzaffar, who is a Turk by origin, in front of Khudat village mosque.
APA’s north bureau reports that the German citizen is said to be former police officer. 15 other local religious men, who were going to the mosque to perform namaz, were also reportedly taken to the police department. Head inspector of the police department Binyameddin Abuzerov told APA that the German citizen stopped near the mosque, when he was passing by, the police officers controlled his documents and released him after that.
