Death toll reaches 13 in university shooting in Baku

Ten people, however, had been injured, Press Service of the Prosecutor’s Office informed ANS PRESS.
Thirteen people were killed and ten were injured in a shooting at the State Oil Academy, the head of the Press Service of the Prosecutor’s Office informed ANS PRESS. According to him, detailed information about the incident will be revealed to the public later. Some sources inform that the gunman was a Georgian citizen with Azerbaijani nationality. Using a pistol to shoot at people, the 25 year-old suspect shot himself.

Hospital #4 named after Afendiyev informed about 2 dead – Ayaz Baghirov and Savalan Jabbarov, fourth course students, and 3 injured -Syrian Naoya Dean, Azerbaijani Zemfira Huseynli and Rahman Akhundov taken to the hospital. Latest official report puts the death toll at 13.
