British Premier Gordon Brown says if some basic conditions are met British army might consider sending an additional contingent of 500 to Afghanistan.

In a speech he delivered at the parliament Mr. Brown listed the conditions as providing the forces with necessary military equipment and other NATO members’ increasing their troops in Afghanistan.

With her 9000 troops in Afghanistan, Britain has the second most number of soldiers in the country after the USA.

Currently there are more than 100 thousand foreign troops in Afghanistan.trt
