The Center for Assessment of Destructive Impact to Environment and Natural Resources in Occupied Territories, a task force under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, has found many facts on the destruction of mineral resources by Armenians after the occupation.
More than 35 000 hectares of land has been burned by Armenians during 2006-2009 alone.
On 23 August, 1993 Armenians also occupied Jabrail which has a land area of 104 980 hectares.
Rich in minerals and natural resources, Jabrail also has very abundant biodiversity, flora and fauna.
According to facts, Armenians destructed trees, rare flora and fauna, forests, minerals and infrastructure after the occupation.
They burned more than 16 000 hectares of land in 2006-2007 alone.apa
