Vice-consul of Azerbaijani Consulate General to Los-Angeles Elman Abdullayev told the APA that Vardan Oskanian stated that commissioning Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline on the initiative of Azerbaijan and establishment of stability in Georgia will strengthen competition between these countries and Armenia in the region. He tried to persuade Armenian Diaspora that reforms in the country are carried out in right direction. Most of the Armenians who attended telemarathon were Armenians or businessmen related to them. $15 million was donated in telemarathon.
