The Azerbaijanis living in Turkey held a protest action in front of the Iranian consulate in Istanbul. The action was attended by more than hundred people, secretary general of Federation of Azerbaijani circles in Turkey Saleh Bayragdar told Trend in a telephone conversation
The action was attended by the representatives of the Azerbaijani community of Turkey, NGOs, the public, as well as students. Participants of the action expressed their protest against Iran’s assistance to occupant Armenia and interference in Azerbaijan’s internal affairs.
Passersby – the inhabitants of Istanbul – also joined the action. There were no incidents during the action.trend
