Azerbaijan strengthens security of Jewish organizations

. Jewish News Agency quoting Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan reported that Azerbaijani law-enforcement bodies strengthened security measures in connection with the appeal of the Jewish organizations. According to the report, law-enforcement bodies strengthened security measures, as threat for Jewish embassies and organizations in different countries increased, after one of the Shiite military leaders Imad Mugniyah was killed. But despite security threats, Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan, as well as Jewish organizations is in operation.

Baku. Lachin Sultanova, Mahbuba Gasimbayli-APA. Jewish organizations in Azerbaijan appealed to law-enforcement bodies for strengthening their security, press service of Azerbaijani Interior Ministry told APA.

The ministry also said that positive answer was given to the appeal and necessary measures were taken to strengthen the security.
