. | Azerbaijan offered to hold the 13th summit of the Organization of Islamic Conference in Baku, in 2014, statement on behalf of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov reported at the annual meting of Foreign Ministers of OIC member-states in New York.

Azerbaijan offered to hold the 13th summit of the Organization of Islamic Conference in Baku, in 2014, statement on behalf of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov reported at the annual meting of Foreign Ministers of OIC member-states in New York.
E. Mammadyarov asked OIC member-states to support our country’s initiative on Azerbaijan’s successfully hosting the several OIC events. According him holding of summit in Baku will increase the influence and role of OIC in Caspian, Black Sea and CIS countries.
E. Mammadyarov also thanked to Followers of Islam and OIC secretary-general Prof Dr Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu for supporting Azerbaijan’s just position in Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict. apa
