“In my opinion, there is no need for mobilizationâ€, spokesman for the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan Eldar Sabiroglu told APA commenting on the reports which claim that Azerbaijan will declare mobilization.
Sabiroglu said Azerbaijan has well-organized army that can successfully overcome any extreme situation. “The last gun battles in the frontline proved it. The enemy, who doesn’t like to confess the high-degree alert of our Armed Forces, knows it well. The enemy attempts to elevate its voice, but this voice is not its own, it is based on external sourcesâ€, Sabiroglu said.
BayBak reminds that recently there have been suspicious activities from Iranian side relating the Karabakh conflict. According to the reports, Iranian government has closed down the door with Nakhchivan, the North Azerbaijani territory which is accessible by land only from Iran. Also, there are negotiations between US and Russia to move the conflict out of Russian back garden in exchange for support on Arab and African colonisation by the west. Israel is another player who sells arms to North Azerbaijan but does not send them even after receiving the payment. Turkey from other side is handicapped because of NATO membership and also relations with west and Russia. Armenian has received a green light to attack, but, it is a temporary move with casualties from both sides. North Azerbaijani government is not keen to liberate the occupied lands (Karabakh and nearby counties). Ilham Aliev’s government continues playing victim in turn to stay at power. They prevent the news from reaching people and also are broadcasting false information on the Karabakh conflict. Turkish defence commanders visit to Baku also plays an important role in the recent incidents. Iran is also trying to stop the news about Karabakh being received by people, in this matter, official media and of those oppositions have same attitude towards the news about Azerbaijan.
