UK anger over US bomb flights

A US-chartered plane bound for Tel Aviv is scheduled to touch down on Sunday in Prestwick airport, near Glasgow, Scotland, a day after a similar flight used the same airport, Britain’s Civil Aviation Authority said.

The demonstrations come amid fierce criticism of Britain’s apparent cooperation in the transport of missiles to the Jewish state during its bombing campaign in Lebanon.

More than 40 people, including 20 children, have been killed in an Israeli air strike

Witnesses said the early-morning strike flattened several sites on top of sleeping residents.

One survivor said the “bombing was so intense that no-one could move”.

Reliable casualty figures are not yet clear, but reports said more than 40 had been killed, while sources in the Lebanese Red Cross said as many as 50 or 60 had lost their lives.

Israels fatal attack on UN post in Lebanon

The United Nations said on Wednesday it asked Israel a dozen times to stop bombing near a U.N. post in Lebanon in the hours before an Israeli air attack destroyed the position killing four peacekeepers.

U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan initially referred to Tuesday’s deadly Israeli strike as the “apparently deliberate targeting” of the Khiam U.N. observer post.

IRI put pressur on Hot bird to stop broadcasting Gun Az TV

Hotbird is not allowed to let broadcasting any opposition party chanells but several Farsi, Arab and even Kurdish channels are being broadcasted without difficulties. Now this action rises several questions about Hotbird’s policy and also it creates black holes on IRI oppositions credibility.

Trial for Azeri detainees will be held on 8th of Julay

Trade talks collapse spells bad news for Africa
